Where you have your butt lift surgery. Due to regional price differences, the cost of butt lift surgery can vary depending on the city in which it is performed. Some patients may choose to travel to a different plastic surgeon for their butt lift to lower costs or work with a more qualified doctor. In this case, you will need to weigh travel expenses into the cost of surgery.
Suture complications. Brazilian butt lifts usually require just one suture, if any, but traditional butt lifts use long incisions that can involve many sutures. If you have sutures, your cosmetic surgeon will remove them several weeks after your surgery. Sometimes, sutures emerge through the incision line as the tissue heals. If this happens, your surgeon can safely remove them and clean the surrounding skin so you can continue healing.

During your consultation, your surgeon will ask about your habits, including whether or not you smoke and what medications you take. You may have to quit smoking for a period before and after surgery to ensure proper healing. You also may have to stop taking certain medications, such as aspirin or other anti-inflammatory drugs such as Motrin or Aleve. Your surgeon will give you instructions about what you need to do.
When most people think about breast enhancement options they typically think of breast augmentation surgery. While there are many women who wish to increase the size of their breasts (breast augmentation continues to be the most popular plastic surgery procedure in the U.S.), there are also many women who seek to reduce or reposition their breasts without adding extra volume.
This type of butt lift is very popular because it requires only small incisions and can give patients a perkier rear. During a Brazilian butt lift, your cosmetic surgeon sculpts your body using liposuction. He or she removes stubborn, unwanted fats from other areas such as your thighs or abdomen, purifies them, and injects them into your buttocks. Adding volume can create a younger, lifted look for your buttocks, but it does not address excess, sagging skin. Patients who have lost a significant amount of weight may need to have a traditional butt lift or lower body lift, after which they may choose to undergo a fat transfer.

Breast reduction surgery, or reduction mammoplasty, can instantly and effectively reduce breast size through the removal of excess breast tissue. Breast reduction is a surgical procedure that involves the removal of excess skin, fat, and glandular tissue to reduce breast size, eliminating the negative issues associated with breasts that are larger than the patient desires.  Usually, the breast is lifted significantly and enlarged areolas are reduced.  The tissue removed can also be sent to a pathologist for breast cancer screening if the patient desires.

At this point, opinions vary. Some doctors seem to agree that having a tummy tuck and a Brazilian butt lift simultaneously is the recommended way so that the patient does not have to undergo a second surgery and second-time anaesthesia. Also, costs are less if those two surgeries are performed in one go. Other surgeons suggest the butt lift and tummy tuck are done separately. This is because the recovery after a tummy tuck involves the patient remains in any flexed or bent position at the hips while the recovery after a butt augmentation requires that the patient reduces the pressure applied to the butt region, as much as possible. So, for a patient that has had both procedures at the same time, it will be difficult to find a position that makes them feel comfortable. The rest of the plastic surgeons recommend the patient has the butt lift first, where fat is aggressively being removed from the waist and abdomen, and then schedules to have a tummy tuck to address the loose skin in the trunk and the abdomen after they have recovered from the butt lift.
Revisional surgery or additional procedures. Most butt lift surgeries are successful, but due to unforeseen circumstances, lower quality surgical work, or complications, you may not be happy with your results. In this case, you may need revisional procedures to enjoy the figure you want. This would involve additional time, discomfort, and cost. Working with an experienced, board-certified, well-reviewed plastic surgeon can reduce your risk for revisional surgery.

The study’s authors conducted a study among 989 respondents who shared their views and preferences of the gluteal region. The most attractive buttocks hip-to-waist ratio was deemed to be 0.65 by 44.2% of respondents, and 25% of respondents were of the opinion that 0.6 was the most attractive ratio. Both ratios indicate the potential for a shift towards more dramatic implants, resulting in a “curvier” final result.

This depends on your goals and if you have enough fat. Most of the time, patients have enough fat to achieve their desired results. However, if you don’t, then you may need butt implants instead. Keep in mind, though, that butt implants have been linked to more risks, including capsular contracture (formation of excess scar tissue around the implant), implant displacement and seroma/hematoma (fluid/blood collection).

To help make butt lift surgery more affordable, many surgeons' practices offer payment plans or financing. These may be provided directly through the clinic or by outside lenders. Most financing programs allow you to spread the cost of your surgery between six months and several years, but you will need to pay interest on your loan. Alternatively, some plastic surgeons' offices may provide incentives such as discounts for paying the full amount up-front.
Reabsorbed fat. If you have a Brazilian butt lift or use fat transfer as part of your traditional butt lift, some of the injected fat may be reabsorbed, diminishing your results. However, you can minimize reabsorption by working with an experienced surgeon, making sure not to put any pressure on your buttocks for two weeks, and wearing your compression garment at all times except for showering for the first two to three weeks after your procedure. Surgical techniques that involve making smaller injections into diverse areas of healthy tissue can also maximize absorption. Plastic surgeons also work to minimize the reabsorption risks by injecting more fat than you need to plump your buttocks sufficiently. Reabsorbing fat is not dangerous to your health, but could mean that you do not achieve your desired results.

Nausea and disorientation. If your surgeon used intravenous sedation or general anesthesia to perform your butt lift procedure, you may feel disoriented, groggy, or nauseated directly after your surgery. For this reason, and due to the effects of painkillers, you will need someone else to drive you home and care for you for at least the rest of the day.

Two to three weeks after your procedure, you may be able to resume normal activities, except for squatting, stretching, or more strenuous exercise. You may be able to stop wearing your compression garment and sit on your buttocks at this time, depending on your surgeon's assessment and instructions. If your drains are still in place, as is typically the case with traditional butt lift surgery, your doctor will likely remove them at this time, as long as their output is low enough. You may be able to drive, provided that you can sit comfortably on a pillow in the car and have stopped taking painkillers.
There are two types of breast implants approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA): silicone-filled and saline-filled. They come in various sizes and shapes, and with two types of shells: textured shells and smooth shells. A type of silicone-filled implant with a thicker filling, called a form-stable highly cohesive implant, or "gummy bear" breast implant, is currently under investigation and may one day provide another option for women undergoing breast augmentation with implants.
Saline breast implants are filled with sterile saltwater. This implant type is recommended for women who do not wish to have silicone implants as well as some women who desire the 'Baywatch' look with a high degree of upper pole fullness and projection. In the right patient, saline implants can also look very natural. Saline implants are generally less popular today than silicone implants.
Similar to endermologie, your cosmetic surgeon may be able to use light or ultrasound technologies to stimulate collagen production, improve your skin elasticity, and help break apart stubborn fats. During treatment, your doctor will move a small device over your body, strategically targeting the affected regions to enhance your buttocks' shape and size. These methods may be a viable alternative for patients who want to subtly improve their figures, do not have large fat deposits, and are willing to undergo multiple treatments over a longer period of time to see results. It will not add volume to the buttocks or remove drooping skin and tissue.

The ‘gummy bear’ implant comes in both round and teardrop shapes. They have a firmer gel, which may give a better shape and may last longer. The round gummy bear implant is often a good choice for women with looser tissues and who want a more durable implant that remains soft. The teardrop shaped gummy bear implant may be a good choice for women whose tissues are relatively tight and desire a very proportionate and natural looking enhancement with less fullness of the upper portion of the breast and more projection and fullness of the lower portion of the breast.

It’s important to understand exactly what your doctor’s quote includes. Does the number only include your surgeon’s fee? Or will it cover anesthesia, hospital fees, pre- or post-op appointments, and medications you’ll need throughout your recovery? If your doctor’s estimate doesn’t consider all those costs, be sure to factor them into your budget. Also be sure to ask how your surgeon handles revisions, in case you aren’t happy with your initial results.

On average, breast reduction costs between $6,500 and $12,000. This does not include additional expenses that may be involved such as any medical tests that must be done prior to surgery (e.g mammogram) surgical garments and pain medications. Many women who consider breast reduction also have other cosmetic procedures done at the same time such liposuction, breast lift and abdominoplasty to enhance the overall results. If additional procedures are performed at the same time, this could also increase your overall cost. However, there usually is a discounted rate surgeons offer for having multiple procedures performed at the same time.
A butt lift is a surgical procedure that can be customized to meet each individual patient's unique needs and desired results. Patients with excess drooping skin may opt for a traditional excisional butt lift, while those who want to subtly augment their backsides may prefer the popular Brazilian butt lift. In any event, butt lift surgery can make having a firm and sexy rear end possible.

A breast reduction typically includes a lift.  However, a lift does not necessarily require a reduction.  Both operations have similar incision patterns and resultant scars, but they have different indications.  One of the first questions I ask a patient who desires an improved appearance of her breasts is if she would like to be the same size, smaller, or larger.  The patient who wants to be the same size and is happy with her breasts when wearing a bra but unhappy with the amount of sagging without a bra is a candidate for a breast lift alone.  The patient who desires to be smaller or has one breast noticeably larger than the other, is a candidate for a breast reduction-lift combination.  Sometimes patients feel their breasts look smaller after removal of the excess skin with the lift even though no breast tissue was removed; the reason for this is that some of what fills your bra cup is excess skin.  The patient with sagging who desires to have larger breasts is a candidate for a breast lift with implants.

For example, if you have very large breasts, sometimes the only reduction that can be made is to detach the nipples and areolas completely from the underlying tissues. If this is done, you will lose sensation in your nipples. Thus, you must think carefully about what will happen during the surgery – and whether or not you can live with the results.
