Silicone-filled Breast Implants. Silicone-filled breast implants are filled with a silicone gel. Over the years, the consistency of this silicone filling has changed. The first silicone breast implants were filled with a very thin, oily silicone. Currently, the silicone used in implants is a gel that is less likely to leak out of the shell if it ruptures. This gel is referred to as "cohesive." Some breast implants — called gummy bear breast implants — are even more cohesive, or "form-stable," and have the consistency of a gummy bear, thus the nickname.
While you can read about all of this online, it's best to hear it straight from your doctor's mouth. Also, ask about what your doctor will do on the off chance that something goes wrong with your Botox treatment. If you have significant bruising, will he give you a discounted v-beam laser treatment to minimize the bruising? If you end up with Spock brows, will he fix them free of charge? What if your Botox wears off in a week, will he give you an additional touch-up for free? Do not be afraid to ask questions! It's better to have answers before than after.
Your plastic surgeon or surgical nurse will provide you with pre-operative instructions at your initial consultation or when you schedule your appointment for surgery. In general, you should work to ensure that you are as healthy and fit as possible before undergoing your procedure. You should also plan ahead so that your recovery is simpler and easier. Before your procedure, you should:
Dr. Fisher is a board certified and Harvard College graduate with a respectable surgical background that will go the extra mile to help his patients reach the expected results. Likewise, Dr.Hasan is an illustrious and televised surgeon whose revolutionary advancements in trans-umbilical breast augmentation and scientific research endeavors have not only provided him with a solid reputation, but also helped him have a better understanding of his patient needs and achieve optimal and long-lasting results for them.
During this procedure, your surgeon will make an incision into your buttock to manually remove thin layers of fat (too much surplus fat will make you ineligible for this procedure), tissue, and skin. He or she may also tighten your underlying muscles and create sutures deep within your tissue to hold your now-smooth buttocks in a lifted position. There are four basic types of traditional butt lift procedures, based on the incision the surgeon makes to correct your ptosis (sagging):
Proper diet and exercise should be the first course of action for patients who want to enjoy firmer, perkier backsides. Exercises like squats target your gluteus maximus and surrounding muscles to tighten them while burning fats. Running and other aerobic activities also strengthen these muscles, making them larger and more toned. If you have experienced moderate weight loss, you may be able to sufficiently firm your rear with exercises and healthy nutrition, but if you've lost massive amounts of weight, no amount of exercise or dieting will be able to get rid of your drooping skin. In fact, buttocks ptosis might make exercising more difficult, preventing you from reaching your health goals and desired look.
It is also important that the patient be in good health standing and have realistic goals and expectations from the procedure. Patients will have to dedicate a few weeks for the recovery period after the procedure is complete. They must be willing to understand that not every patient will have the same butt augmentation result. Therefore, it is important to compare before and after photos of Buttock Lift procedures with fat transfer only if the patients has a similar body type.
A breast lift involves both repositioning the nipple higher on the chest wall and reshaping the breast. A breast reduction does the same but also removes breast tissue to make the breasts smaller. If you are considering a breast reduction with lift or breast lift alone, I would recommend an in-person consultation with a plastic surgeon to allow for a thorough physical examination and a detailed discussion regarding your options to determine the best treatment plan for you. Best of luck!
Breast implants are not lifetime devices. The longer a woman has implants, the more likely it is that she will need to have surgery to remove or replace them. The most frequent complications and adverse outcomes experienced by breast implant patients include capsular contracture, reoperation, and implant removal (with or without replacement). Other common complications include implant rupture with deflation, wrinkling, asymmetry, scarring, pain, and infection. In addition, women with breast implants may have a very low but increased likelihood of being diagnosed with anaplastic large cell lymphoma (ALCL).
The woman wanting a lift is usually slightly different. She had breasts she was happy with before, she had loving kids who she may or may not have breastfed, exercised and had a good life. They come wanting to restore the youthful breast they once they had(or better), they hate that it is slightly more deflated than before and it's slightly more south then they'd like. The formal name of this operation is "Mastopexy" and that's why you hear terms like "Mastopexy augmentation" because often in order to restore the youthfulness of the breast you not only need to reposition the nipple/areolar complex "up" with a mastopexy, you also need to provide some additional volume with an implant, hence augmentation as well. The discussion with implant also is entirely different discussion all together, but this highlights the primary difference in the reduction and a lift.
At the initial consultation, your plastic surgeon will discuss his or her ideas on how the procedure will be done as well as what type of results you can expect. He or she should have a large book of before and after photos that you can spend time looking at. When looking at these, consider the height, weight and build of the person in the photos and whether it matches yours or not. If it matches your specs, then it’s more likely you could have similar results.
After care from the experts was pretty simple and didn’t require anything too strenuous. To keep results looking optimum I’m told to avoid things such as smoking, excess alcohol, sun exposure and getting stressed - which can all help break down collagen faster, decreasing the longevity of Botox. ‘I always recommend that my clients use a daily antioxidant topical serum and an SPF 50 too,’ advises Spyrou.
The ideal candidate for the BBL surgery are individuals who wish to enhance the size of their buttocks but, have a significant amount of fat in covering different areas of their body such as the abdomen, waist, hips, and lower back. One of the board certified plastic surgeons at Jolie Plastic Surgery expands on factors an ideal candidate must have for the fat transfer procedure by stating:
A breast reduction typically includes a lift. However, a lift does not necessarily require a reduction. Both operations have similar incision patterns and resultant scars, but they have different indications. One of the first questions I ask a patient who desires an improved appearance of her breasts is if she would like to be the same size, smaller, or larger. The patient who wants to be the same size and is happy with her breasts when wearing a bra but unhappy with the amount of sagging without a bra is a candidate for a breast lift alone. The patient who desires to be smaller or has one breast noticeably larger than the other, is a candidate for a breast reduction-lift combination. Sometimes patients feel their breasts look smaller after removal of the excess skin with the lift even though no breast tissue was removed; the reason for this is that some of what fills your bra cup is excess skin. The patient with sagging who desires to have larger breasts is a candidate for a breast lift with implants.
Hi there- I think it's important to realize that the appearance you would like to achieve may not require a 6 inch increase in your hips (which I agree would be extraordinary), but might be possible through the change in the relationships between your waist, abdomen, and hips. In a Brazilian Butt Lift, it is often possible to make the buttocks look even more full through the suction and... READ MORE
