All patients experience some pain in their breasts, chest and/or back after surgery. Most patients take only plain acetaminophen  (Tylenol) and Celebrex as prescribed for pain control. If you are unable to take Celebrex, acetaminophen  alone may be sufficient. Begin taking acetaminophen elixir (liquid) or tablets for pain as soon as possible after surgery.  If this is not sufficient to control your pain, begin taking any prescribed narcotic(Vicodin, Percocet, Darvocet, Tylenol  #3) pain pills as directed. If you did not receive a prescription for narcotic pain medication and you feel you need something  stronger for pain control, please contact us as directed below. Prescribed narcotic pain medications can make you sick to your stomach. Take them only after you have had something to eat. I recommend you take a dose of either  acetaminophen or narcotic pain medication before you go to bed the first night or evening after surgery. Set an  alarm clock to wake yourself up 4 hours after you go to bed. Take a second dose of the same pain medication then  resume your rest until morning.  Ice application during the first 24 hours after surgery will also reduce pain and swelling. Apply ice bags to  your breasts for 20 minutes at a time followed by 10 minutes of rest. In other words, apply ice to your  breasts for 20 minutes of every half an hour. When applying the ice bags make sure there is a small amount  of water in with the ice at all times. Your skin should feel cool to the touch. Do not use frozen gel packs.  It is not necessary to apply ice while you are sleeping at night.
Butt lift surgery can be a complex and personal process, so finding the right plastic surgeon is important. In addition to having the expertise and experience to provide you with excellent results, your surgeon should make you feel comfortable and listen to your concerns. Thoroughly researching your options and asking the right questions can help you find a surgeon to suit your needs.
The advantage of this treatment is that it is minimally invasive, but it usually produces only subtle, gradual results over time. By targeting your upper back and thighs, your endermologie practitioner may be able to create a more lifted appearance for your buttocks and sculpt your figure. However, this treatment will not add volume to your rear like a Brazilian butt lift or eliminate sagging folds of skin like a traditional butt lift.
As with any medical/surgical treatment, individual results may vary. Only a surgeon/physician can determine whether reconstruction or augmentation>is an appropriate course of treatment. The following are general adverse events associated with breast implant surgery: Device Rupture, Capsular contracture, Infection, Hematoma/Seroma, Pain, Reoperation, Implant removal, changes in Nipple and Breast Sensation, unsatisfactory results, breast-feeding complications. Other reported conditions are listed in the Product Insert Data Sheet (PIDS). See full list in the PIDS for the product information. These potential adverse events, including contraindications, warnings, and precautions need to be discussed with your doctor prior to surgery.
During these first two weeks some minor swelling and discomfort is normal. You should be able to control any pain with ibuprofen or your prescriptions. Be sure to stick to only these medications for controlling your pain. Medicines like aspirin or Advil can thin your blood, which can cause complications in the new blood vessels forming within the fat transfer.
Spread of toxin effects. The effect of botulinum toxin may affect areas away from the injection site and cause serious symptoms including: loss of strength and all-over muscle weakness, double vision, blurred vision and drooping eyelids, hoarseness or change or loss of voice, trouble saying words clearly, loss of bladder control, trouble breathing, and trouble swallowing.

If you feel your breasts are too large or heavy for the size of your body, you may be a good candidate for breast reduction surgery. For many woman, reducing the size of overly large breasts not only increases their self-confidence but provides relief from physical issues such as shoulder, back and neck pain which oftentimes interfere with normal everyday activities.

“One of the most exciting procedures we perform is the fat transfer. We take fat from elsewhere on the body and we transfer it to another place in the body. The most common places where we transfer fat is to the face, and even more popular in South Florida is transferring it to the buttocks to create a fuller figure look. For the vast majority of patients, fat transfer is the best option. Not only does it provide a full body liposuction, which already helps contour the body, but it provides a secondary effect (double effect) because we’re taking off fat from one location and placing the fat in another location that the results are very, very dramatic."

Apart from the plastic surgery itself, the patient would also need to consider extra costs that are not included in the price quote they receive. These can comprise of the cost of prescription drugs the patient may need to take, the surgical garments required for after the surgery, and the costs of medical tests if necessary, among others. It should be noted, though, that some plastic doctors exclude the anaesthesiologist's fee and operating room charges from their quote, so it is always recommended to read the small letters or ask what's included in the offered package so you can have the right overall cost estimate for the Brazilian buttock augmentation.
Every BBL surgery will differ, based on the amount of fat that needs to be harvested and transferred to meet your goals. “Often fat is also added to the hips in addition to the buttocks with extensive liposuction of the flanks (love handles) and lower back to achieve a more curvy, hourglass shape,” Marina del Rey, California plastic surgeon Dr. Ziyad Hammoudeh, says in a RealSelf Q&A. “The cost can range widely based on the amount of time needed to complete all of the steps.”
A Brazilian butt lift enhances the size and shape of a patient's butt so that it better fits his or her figure and provides an attractive, prominent rear end. In order to perform Brazilian butt lift surgery, fat from areas of the body such as the back, abdomen, hips, and thighs is removed through liposuction. During this process, your surgeon will make a small incision in the region with excess fat and insert a small tube. He or she will then use manual motion, vibration, ultrasonic waves, bursts of air, or even lasers to dissolve fat deposits before gently aspirating them. Liposuction usually only requires local anesthesia to complete, but your doctor may recommend general anesthesia or sedation if you require more extensive fat removal or are particularly nervous about your surgery.

With more patients wanting to add volume to their rears for a curvier figure, some plastic surgeons have been using dermal fillers to plump the buttocks. Initially developed to smoothen wrinkles and fill out the face, these materials are injected like fat transfers, except they require no liposuction for harvesting and are synthetic. The most popular fillers are:

Since traditional butt lift surgery is a more involved procedure, your plastic surgeon will typically administer either general anesthesia or local anesthesia and sedation to keep you safe and comfortable throughout your butt lift. Then, he or she will make an upper, lower, butterfly, or lateral incision into your buttocks to access the tissue beneath. Next, your plastic surgeon will remove any stubborn areas of fat using a scalpel or, in some cases, liposuction. He or she will then reposition the remaining tissue for a perkier, firmer look, suturing it to deep hip muscles or even to your hipbones.
During your search for a surgeon, keep in mind that “as with any cosmetic procedure, the price should not be the primary factor in choosing your surgeon,” Orlando, Florida plastic surgeon Dr. Armando Soto, says in a RealSelf Q&A. “This is not to say that less expensive surgeons are uniformly going to deliver poor care, just that the costs should be secondary to your overall sense of comfort and confidence in the surgeon you choose.”
During the first week, you should plan to take time off of work and have a friend or family member care for you. You can shower, removing your compression garment and gently washing your buttocks, in about two days. You should come into your plastic surgeon's office within the first week of recovery so that he or she can examine your buttocks and remove your drains, if they are no longer collecting much fluid. Sutures may be removed within ten days of your procedure, depending on your healing. You may not drink alcohol, smoke, or take medications like aspirin. Many patients return to work after the first week, but you may need someone to help you care for your house and children for two weeks. Plastic surgeons typically recommend taking short walks around your home during this time period to decrease swelling and keep your blood moving properly. Some plastic surgeons even recommend having regular massages to improve your circulation and help you recover more quickly from butt lift surgery. Depending on your condition and your customized procedure, you may be able to travel after the first week.
Excessive bleeding. Due to improperly sutured incisions, poor healing, or anticoagulant medications, your wounds may bleed excessively. Refraining from strenuous activity for the first month after your butt lift can minimize your risks for bleeding. Depending on the severity of your condition, excessive bleeding may require additional surgery or blood transfusion, although this is not common. Traditional butt lifts carry a higher risk for excessive bleeding than Brazilian methods, given the size and placement of the required incisions.

You may have heard of dermabrasion, a procedure that sands away the top layer of skin. It can treat severe sun damage, but it causes bleeding and needs a week of recovery time. Microdermabrasion is a nonsurgical option. Often called a "power peel," it blasts the skin with tiny crystals that exfoliate the outer layer. This can reduce fine lines, brown spots, and mild acne scars -- usually with little recovery time.
